Fans were rooting for 28 year old Gabby to make a comeback but she withdrew after falling twice on bars during her first rotation. She tore her labrum two years ago and said she will eventually need surgery. On Friday, she announced that she was withdrawing from the U.S. Championships due to her shoulder. Her petition to USA Gymnastics to compete at the Olympic Trials next month was approved. <\/p>\n<p>To no one&#8217;s surprise, Simone Biles won a record ninth national all around title, besting the second place finisher by a whopping 5.9 points.
