Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the parameters of his separation with wife Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 44-year-old The Valley<\/strong><\/a><\/em> reality star was recently spotted out to lunch with model Paige Woolen<\/strong> and has denied that the two are dating<\/a>.<\/p>\n During the latest episode of Jax<\/strong> and Brittany<\/strong>\u2018s podcast, When Reality Hits<\/a><\/em>, he revealed that they are open to dating other people while they continue to figure out the future of their relationship.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out what he said\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am not \u2014 I repeat not \u2014 dating anybody. I was seen out with someone and it was strictly lunch. Obviously, Brittany<\/strong> and I are separated and have been for a long time,\u201d Jax<\/strong> said on the podcast, addressing the recent outing with Paige<\/strong>. \u201cWhat we are going through right now is tough. Marriage is not easy.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe are trying to figure out a lot of different things: therapy, separation, and maybe, possibly, dating other people,\u201d he continued. \u201cWe are trying to exhaust everything before we have to go down the divorce road \u2014 if that would be the case.\u201d<\/p>\n He continues to say that they are both in agreement on being able to date other people, and talked about the rules and understanding they have for the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cPart of taking some time apart means exploring other people. All marriages are different, but this is what is good for our marriage,\u201d Jax<\/strong> shares. \u201cThis is something we talked about and we are on the same page. We have a couple of rules with it, but this is what we are exploring.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat is not to say Brittany<\/strong> isn\u2019t doing what she\u2019s doing. I know it\u2019s not out there what she is doing, but she\u2019s doing her own thing, too,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n Jax<\/strong> then clarifies, once again, that he is not currently dating anyone.<\/p>\n \u201cI am not dating anybody \u2014 nor do I plan on dating anybody,\u201d he says. \u201cI don\u2019t know if I am ready to start the dating thing again. I don\u2019t think I am. We are just hanging out right now with whoever. I know Brittany<\/strong> is probably doing her own thing too. We are in agreement about it.\u201d<\/p>\n If you recall, Jax <\/strong>and Brittany<\/strong> announced their separation<\/a> back in February, just before the premiere of their new show The Valley<\/em>.<\/p>\n The Bravo series, which has been renewed for a second season<\/a>, will air it\u2019s season one finale THIS upcoming Wednesday (June 5), with the extended and uncensored version on Peacock the next day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
