Shanna Moakler<\/b><\/a> revealed that she is no longer competing with ex-husband <\/span>Travis Barker<\/b><\/a> when it comes to parenting.<\/p>\n While appearing on the Friday, May 31, episode of SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cJeff Lewis Live,\u201d<\/a> Shanna, 49, admitted that she used to compare herself to Travis, 48, when it came to their parenting abilities. \u201cI gave up, I was never really trying to compete. I gave that up a long time ago,\u201d she shared. \u201cI was like, \u2018You win. Like, you\u2019re the winner.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Shanna added that Travis \u201cis a very powerful, famous person,\u201d<\/a> so it was \u201chard to compete on that level.\u201d<\/p>\n The former couple \u2014 who share daughter Alabama<\/b><\/a>, 18, and son <\/span>Landon<\/b><\/a>, 20 \u2014 were married from 2004 until 2008. Meanwhile, the Blink-182 musician has always acted as a father figure for her eldest daughter, <\/span>Atiana De La Hoya<\/b>, with <\/span>ex <\/span>Oscar De La Hoya<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n While Shanna has made shady comments about Travis and his new wife, Kourtney Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>, in the past, she insisted that she\u2019s \u201chappy\u201d for the couple after they welcomed son Rocky in November 2023. \u201cHe\u2019s in a good place, the kids love the new baby, my daughter\u2019s obsessed with him and sends me cute pictures,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Rhode Island native has made it clear that she prioritizes her kids over her relationship with her ex. In March, Shanna praised Alabama for how she handles public backlash<\/a> during an exclusive interview with Life & Style<\/em>.<\/p>\n After stating that she\u2019s \u201cvery inspired by [her] youngest daughter,\u201d<\/a> Shanna said that the teen has \u201calways been very, very true to herself.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s really been bullied and people have come at her since she was really young,\u201d the mother of three said about Alabama, pointing out that she was born into the spotlight. \u201cAnd she\u2019s always handled it, I think, way better than I ever could at that age.\u201d<\/p>\n Shanna then said that Alabama has \u201calways stayed true to herself\u201d and shared that her \u201cconfidence is mind blowing.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think a lot of people could handle it the way that she does,\u201d the Celebrity Big Brother<\/span><\/i><\/a> alum said about how Alabama has handled criticism from social media trolls, including <\/span>speculation that she\u2019s had plastic surgery<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m very proud of who she is as a young woman, and I can\u2019t imagine a lot of people being in the position that she\u2019s in and handling it as well as she does.\u201d<\/p>\n While several fans have shared their theories that Alabama has gone under the knife, both she and her mother have denied plastic surgery allegations<\/a>. \u201cShe\u2019s not having any plastic surgery anytime soon,\u201d Shanna told Life & Style<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
