Congratulations are in order for Daniel Radcliffe<\/strong> and Erin Darke<\/strong>.\u00a0The couple is expecting the birth of their first child, as per The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>,<\/em> although the due date remains unclear. British tabloid The Sun<\/em><\/a> quoted \u201ca source\u201d who said that Darke \u201ccan’t hide her bump anymore.\u201d V.F.<\/em> has reached out for further comment.<\/p>\n Radcliffe, 33, and Darke, 38, first met during the 2012 production of the Beat Generation origin tale Kill Your Darlings<\/em><\/a>, and have been together since. The two keep a pretty low profile considering his household name status. The London-born Harry Potter<\/em> star has no social media presence, once explaining<\/a> \u201cif I did, you all would be waking up to stories like \u2018Dan Radcliffe gets into fight with random person on Twitter.'” The Michigan-born Darke has a private Instagram and a Twitter account that is mostly (forgive me) dark.\u00a0<\/p>\n In 2019<\/a>, he described first meeting his future partner while portraying Allen Ginsburg in Kill Your Darlings<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019ll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day because of what our characters do with each other,\u201d he said, describing the lewd act the two actors shared on screen. \u201cThat\u2019s how we met. That was the beginning of our beautiful relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n He went on to say (rather poignantly!) that he tends to swat away questions about \u201chow was it like to grow up on film?\u201d because all the \u201cprivate moments where you grow up were off-camera\u2014apart from meeting the girl who is the love of my life. Altman & Company.\u00a0<\/p>\n In December 2022, Radcliffe starred in a revival of Stephen Sondheim\u2019s Merrily We Roll Along<\/em> at the New York Theater Workshop<\/a>, one of the city\u2019s most prominent off-Broadway venues. The New York Times<\/em><\/a> praised the production, and noted that the actor \u201cseem[ed] to have written a Bible of back story, giving wild spins to every line that help send the song into orbit.\u201d In November, he starred in Weird<\/em>, a musical biopic parody portraying the life of American musical legend \u201cWeird Al\u201d Yankovic<\/strong>.
