\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Camila Cabello<\/strong><\/a> opened up about getting Drake<\/strong><\/a> on her new album C,XOXO<\/em>.<\/p>\n If you forgot, the 27-year-old Fifth Harmony alum and 37-year-old rapper briefly sparked romance rumors<\/a> when they were spotted in the Turks and Caicos Islands in December 2023. It turns out that they were actually there to work on a song together. <\/p>\n In a new interview, Camila<\/strong> spilled on working with Drake<\/strong> on the project. She also shared a surprising detail about his contribution. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s the f\u2013king GOAT, so it felt like shooting for the stars,\u201d Camila<\/strong> told Billboard<\/a>, explaining that she reached out to Drake <\/strong>via DM. \u201cI showed him the album when I felt comfortable enough and he really liked it. [The feature] came out of a nontransactional place. He had this idea of a song called \u2018Hot Uptown,\u2019 and it just felt like I was in the city. I was in Miami.\u201d<\/p>\n It turns out that \u201cHot Uptown\u201d isn\u2019t Drake<\/strong>\u2018s only contribution to C,XOXO<\/em>. He also takes teh lead on an interlude called \u201cUuugly,\u201d which only features Camila<\/strong> as a backing vocalist. <\/p>\n \u201cWhy does he have his own song,\u201d she said about the unexpected decision. \u201cBecause selfishly, I just want to hear Drake <\/strong>on my own album.\u201d<\/p>\n Camila<\/strong> continued, saying, \u201cI love that for me \u2014 it\u2019s like that rebellious mood. Who says I can\u2019t do that?
