\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Normal People<\/strong><\/a><\/em> fans are seemingly in quite the news!<\/p>\n Stars Paul Mescal<\/strong><\/a> and Daisy Edgar-Jones<\/strong><\/a> are teasing something in a new selfie, which was posted by the 26-year-old actress.<\/p>\n Normal People<\/em> first premiered in April 2020 on BBC Three in the UK and Hulu in the US, and fans have been clamoring for a second season ever since!<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got some news to share!!\u201d Daisy<\/strong> wrote on an Instagram Story<\/a> selfie of the two of them on Tuesday (May 28). \u201cWatch this space \u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n In the pic, both actors could be seen holding up two fingers, seemingly hinting that they\u2019re working on another season, finally. Check it out in the gallery!<\/p>\n Element Pictures, the production company behind the series, also reposted the photo on their account.<\/p>\n If you forgot, Normal People<\/em> is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Sally Rooney<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In July 2020, just months after the show premiered, showrunners Ed Guiney<\/strong> and Lenny Abrahamson<\/strong> said that there were no discussions<\/a> about a second season, but didn\u2019t completely shut down the possibility.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a sneaking thing in the back of my head that if everybody was willing, and if the stars aligned, I\u2019d love to revisit them in five years and find out what happened, where they are. Is somebody a father or a mother? What relationship are they in that then get disrupted by their meeting again?\u201d Lenny told Deadline<\/em>\u2018s Award Line<\/a> magazine.<\/p>\n He added, \u201cBut it would be really strange to pick that up eight weeks later with him traveling to new York, I think. There needs to be time.
