The mum-of-four Spice Girls singer-turned fashion designer, 50, has children Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12, with her 49-year-old former footballer husband David, and she has now opened up about her difficulty feeling free in herself while they were growing up in a chat in which she also detailed her \u201cdisciplined\u201d diet.<\/p>\n
She told Grazia magazine: \u201cI\u2019ve had so much said about me and I\u2019m sure that has robbed me of some experiences. <\/p>\n
\u201cI never want to look like I\u2019m complaining, but there were times in the past that I haven\u2019t felt confident enough to sit on a beach and watch my children play. <\/p>\n
\u201cI remember after I had Brooklyn, my first outing was on the front page of the newspaper, with arrows pointing to where I needed to lose weight. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThose things can affect how you feel and conduct yourself in public. Now, if paparazzi want to take a picture and say something \u2013 too bad, it doesn\u2019t bother me in the same way.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nVictoria added she now feels more stable, insisting negative comments \u201cdon\u2019t bother her now\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe also stated she has become more \u201caccepting\u201d of her looks and body.<\/p>\n
\nVictoria added she is strict with her diet, but said she does not count calories when it comes to drinking wine.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThis is how I look. I\u2019m going to make the best of it, work hard at it. \u201cI\u2019m very disciplined with the way that I eat, the way that I work out and the way I work. That\u2019s just who I am. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I do like to have a drink and I\u2019m not going to be one these, \u2018Ah, there are too many calories in a glass of wine\u2019 types. Whatever. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cLife\u2019s too short. Let\u2019s have a nice time.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nVictoria\u2019s husband David famously revealed Victoria has eaten the same dish of grilled fish and steamed vegetables for 25 years, saying she will \u201crarely deviate\u201d from the meal.<\/p>\n
\nHe also said she has only tried other food while pregnant with their daughter Harper, telling the \u2018Table 4\u2019 podcast: \u201cI get quite emotional about food and wine. When I\u2019m eating something great I want everyone to try it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cUnfortunately I\u2019m married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cSince I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables \u2013 she will very rarely deviate from that.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe only time she\u2019s probably ever shared something that’s been on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper and it was the most amazing thing.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt was one of my favourite evenings. I can\u2019t remember what it was but I know she\u2019s not eaten it since.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
