Harry Styles<\/strong><\/a> is passing on Hollywood roles left and right, according to an insider who exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em> that the One Direction heartthrob is still stinging from the bad experience he had with mega bomb Don\u2019t Worry Darling<\/em> \u2013 and cooling his jets on acting as a result.<\/p>\n \u201cHarry\u2019s number one love is absolutely music,\u201d a source tells Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cTechnically he\u2019s still open for business for acting, meaning he wants to see all offers and look at all scripts if they\u2019re interesting. But he\u2019s not saying yes to anything and not seeking out the kind of meetings that could lead to future films.\u201d<\/p>\n The insider notes that \u201cit\u2019s more than just a money thing\u201d when it comes to the U.K. native\u2019s acting future as \u201cprestige matters.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s hard to believe but he still hasn\u2019t done a true leading man turn in a big American film yet: Dunkirk<\/em> and Don\u2019t Worry Darling<\/em> were ensemble movies and his role in Eternals<\/em> was merely a small cameo,\u201d the insider adds, noting that Harry has \u201cunfinished business on the acting side.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHarry seems to be holding out for something really special to fall into his lap, and a filmmaker to come along that he can\u2019t say no to, like he had with Christopher Nolan<\/strong> and Dunkirk<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n Harry\u2019s priority remains \u201cwriting and recording new music\u201d as the \u201cpain and drama\u201d of his Don\u2019t Worry Darling<\/em> experience made him \u201cgun shy in the extreme.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd showed him how fragile acting success can really be,\u201d the insider concludes. \u201cThere\u2019s no question music is a much safer space for Harry at the moment, and it pays a heck of a lot better too!\u201d<\/p>\n Don\u2019t Worry Darling<\/em> was one of the most anticipated films of 2022, yet behind-the-scenes drama surrounding director Olivia Wilde<\/strong><\/a> and her romance with the \u201cWatermelon Sugar\u201d singer, 30, soon took center stage.
