Billie Eilish<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t the only person who thinks three-hour-long concerts can be a lot to handle.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the pop star, 22, made headlines for calling long concerts \u201cpsychotic.\u201d<\/a> She told fans via a Stationhead app Q&A: \u201cI\u2019m not doing a three-hour show. Nobody wants that. You guys don\u2019t want that. I don\u2019t want that. I don\u2019t even want that as a fan. My favorite artist in the world, I\u2019m not trying to hear them for three hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoda Kotb<\/strong><\/a> agreed with Eilish\u2019s criticisms during the Tuesday, May 28, episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI kind of think a three-hour concert is a long time. \u2026 \u2018Cause usually, they save the really great [songs] for the end,\u201d she explained to her cohost, Jenna Bush Hager<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cAnd you\u2019re like, \u2018Ugh,\u2019 \u2018cause sometimes it\u2019s like there\u2019s some good ones and some not, and then you\u2019re waiting, waiting, waiting for the big one at the end.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager, 42, shared her sentiment, noting that \u201cthree hours in a very long time to do just about anything.\u201d However, Bush Hager joked that some of the things she and Kotb, 59, could happily do for that length of time include reading on the beach and enjoying a nature walk.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBoth precocious child prodigies turned global, Grammy-winning pop superstars, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish have had a long overlapping history. Swift and Eilish, who released their debut albums at the ages of 16 and 17, respectively, have frequently celebrated each other\u2019s successes within the industry. Swift even passed the baton to Eilish at Billboard\u2019s 2019 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Many fans interpreted Eilish\u2019s comments as a dig at Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s The Eras Tour<\/em><\/a>, during which she performs songs from all of her 11 studio albums throughout a nearly three-hour-long runtime.<\/p>\n

Kotb and Bush Hager, who are big Swifties, each attended The Eras Tour<\/em> last year with friends and family and gushed about the show at the time. Bush Hager, for her part, stated she was \u201csore\u201d after her concert, but went on to praise Swift, 34 for her stamina.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not even Taylor, I didn\u2019t do anything, and I was like, \u2018How does she do this?\u2019\u201d the TV personality stated on Tuesday. \u201cWhen you think about what she does, it is amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift recently updated her Eras Tour<\/em> show to incorporate songs<\/a> from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>, into the setlist. The album, which dropped last month, beat out Eilish\u2019s new record<\/a>, Hit Me Hard and Soft<\/em>, for the No. 1 spot on Billboard<\/em>\u2019s 200 albums chart. According to Billboard<\/em><\/a>, TTPD<\/em> is the first album to spend five weeks in the chart\u2019s top spot since Morgan Wallen<\/strong>\u2019s One Thing at a Time<\/em> in 2023.<\/p>\n
