Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> reacted to sports commentators Erin Andrews<\/strong><\/a> and Charissa Thompson<\/strong>\u2018s claims that they set him up with girlfriend Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> after his failed attempt to give the pop star his phone number in July 2023.<\/p>\n On May 23, Erin, 46, and Charissa, 42, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em> and joked about the start of Traylor\u2019s love story. \u201c[Travis] had mentioned on his podcast that he went to the [Eras tour] show, wanted to meet her afterwards, didn\u2019t get the chance to,\u201d Erin explained. \u201cSo, we just started talking about it on our podcast [\u201cCalm Down\u200b\u201d] saying, \u2018Taylor, do this for America. Date him.\u2019 I mean, the guy, he\u2019s not ugly by any means. So, we\u2019re like, \u2018Taylor, go!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Charissa chimed in and gushed that she and Erin \u201cwere advocating early on.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd he was very sweet and he commented and he was like, \u2018I owe you guys big time,\u2019 so then, of course, everyone gives us credit,\u201d she said. \u201cWe, you know, we\u2019ll take the credit. But I just love both of them and I\u2019m so happy to see them happy.\u201d<\/p>\n Jimmy, 49, who is also a stan of the couple, thanked the women for creating Hollywood\u2019s hottest couple, joking, \u201cAs a country, we\u2019re thanking our servicemen and women [on Memorial Day], but we really have to thank you for what you\u2019ve done for all of us. You brought us Taylor and Travis, oh my God.\u201d<\/p>\n The Tonight Show<\/em>\u2019s official Instagram shared a clip<\/a> of the interview and Travis, 34, reacted to the matchmaker\u2019s claims in the comments section.<\/p>\n \u201cFor America!! Charissa and Erin are the best!,\u201d the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wrote.<\/p>\n One month after Taylor, 34, and the NFL star went public with their relationship in September 2023, Erin re-shared a clip of the August 2023 \u201cCalm Down\u201d podcast episode via Instagram where she and Charissa endorsed Travis as a fantastic suitor for Taylor\u2019s next boyfriend.<\/p>\n \u201cYou two are something else!!
