Now look at <strong>Billie Eilish<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/taylor-swift\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Taylor Swift<\/strong> <\/a>and everybody who\u2019s come after,\u201d Gibson, 53, exclusively told <em>Us Weekly<\/em> at Lupus L.A.\u2019s inaugural Cuisine for a Cause event at Vibiana on Sunday, May 19. \u201cNobody was warm and welcoming to female songwriters [when I started], let alone producers at that time. So, I mean, to me, the landscape has just opened wide up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gibson went on to praise Swift, 34, as an \u201cextraordinary\u201d talent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[The<em> Tortured Poets Department<\/em> song] \u2018I Can Do It With a Broken Heart\u2019 is my new anthem,\u201d Gibson said. \u201cI think a lot of us kind of live that, and showbiz women live it. It\u2019s like we get on stage and we sing and dance, and then we go cry in a corner later about our personal life. Swift, 34, released her 11th studio album on April 19, and it immediately began shattering sales and streaming records left and right. I feel like Lupus and Lyme, there\u2019s so much in common,\u201d Gibson said. \u201cI remember when I was at the beginning of my journey and just a lot of autoimmune diseases were not at the tip of everyone\u2019s tongue. So, just to have a night dedicated to the awareness [is important]. \u2026 I feel like people see this on social media.
