Walton Goggins<\/strong><\/a> is dishing on his role in the upcoming third season of The White Lotus<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The 52-year-old actor will be one of the many faces on the next season<\/a> of the hit HBO<\/strong><\/a> series, which serves as an anthology of sorts.<\/p>\n In a new interview, Walton<\/strong> shared how he reacted when his agents told him about the role, which was an offer, and he teased what to expect from the new season.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThey said, \u2018Before we do anything, we have to tell you something,\u201d he said of his agents. \u201cYou just got an offer for The White Lotus<\/em>, and it\u2019s a very good role.\u2019 I said, \u2018Could you say that again?\u2019 They said, \u2018Mike [White]<\/strong><\/a> wants you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI said, \u2018Could you excuse me a minute?\u2019 I walked outside and I start bawling. Crying uncontrollably,\u201d Walton<\/strong> added. \u201cI called my wife (Nadia Conners<\/strong><\/a>), shaking, and she said, \u2018I f\u2013king knew it!\u2019 When we were watching it one time, she had said, \u2018Why don\u2019t you do The White Lotus<\/em>? You\u2019d be perfect for it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Of the new season, Walton<\/strong> says it\u2019s \u201call very meta.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re guests checking into a hotel playing guests checking into a hotel. We spend all this time together, whether we like it or not, eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. We work where we stay,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He even recalled previously visiting where they filmed in Thailand 18 years prior.<\/p>\n \u201cI went to a lot of the places where we\u2019re filming now, the same streets and sandy beaches,\u201d Walton shared. \u201cI have come so far in my life and been healed on a number of levels. I am so grateful for this moment and the path I\u2019ve been walking.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to The White Lotus<\/em>, Walton<\/strong> also stars on Prime Video\u2019s Fallout<\/em>, which has been renewed for a second season<\/a>, and he is on HBO\u2019s The Righteous Gemstones<\/em>, which just started filming season four.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
