Camila Cabello<\/strong><\/a> waited until she was 20 and in her first serious relationship before losing her virginity<\/a>, the \u201cHavana\u201d singer shared during a Monday, May 20, appearance on Dax Shepard<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cArmchair Expert\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n The \u201cMy Oh My\u201d songstress first met dating expert Matthew Hussey<\/strong> when they both appeared on the Today<\/em> show in 2018, and she was already a fan. \u201cI was outside where they had the TV with the scripts. I had actually listened to his podcast before,\u201d Camila, 27, explained.<\/p>\n After approaching Matthew, 36, and telling him, \u201cOh my God. I\u2019m such a big fan,\u201d Camila said, \u201cWe went to dinner that night and that was my first relationship. It was late for my first relationship. I was 20.\u201d<\/p>\n The Miami, Florida, native revealed that prior to meeting Matthew, \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh my God. I\u2019ve never had a boyfriend,\u201d adding, \u201cThere was, like, literally eight songs that were, like, basically, lonely. I am so lonely,\u201d that were in her repertoire.<\/p>\n Dax, 49, asked Camila if she had been having sex at any point prior to her relationship with Matthew. She replied, \u201cNo. That was my first time having sex. First lovemaking was at 20, 21. \u2026 It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe was a really great person,\u201d the \u201cWorth It\u201d singer said of the \u201cLove Life\u201d podcaster. \u201cIt was like the perfect first relationship. It really expanded my world because he wasn\u2019t in my industry too.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cIt was like, oh my God, have you ever seen Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown<\/em> and have you ever seen Studio Ghibli films?\u2019 He just really expanded my references.\u201d<\/p>\n Camila first publicly revealed their romance and named Matthew<\/a> in a November 2018 interview with Marie Claire<\/em><\/a>. The couple were initially photographed frolicking on the beach in Mexico in February of that year.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s annoying, because we\u2019ve been together for kind of like a long time now, but every time, I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh my God, I have to talk now,\u2019\u201d she said about keeping their relationship on the down-low.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s so similar to me,\u201d she gushed. \u201cIn person, we\u2019re just weird and silly and stupid together. The pair called it quits<\/a> after more than a year of dating in June 2019.<\/p>\n Weeks later, Camila was photographed holding hands with singer Shawn Mendes<\/strong> at a Malibu pool party over the 4th of July weekend, as their friendship blossomed into romance. She later confirmed that their relationship began at that time.<\/p>\n Shawn, 25, and Camila were together for more than two years<\/a>.
