Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen has been arrested on charges of driving under the influence.
According to ESPN, the 34-year-old WR1 was arrested for both “DWI” and “DWI endangering a person” on Sunday (August 30) in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The arrest happened around 1am local time. These are misdemeanor charges.
The Colts reacted to the news in a statement
“We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time,” they said in a statement.
Keenan Allen just joined the Colts earlier this month, and played in their Saturday pre-season game
He competed in the Colts’ pre-season game against the Lions on Saturday (August 29). He joined the Colts on a one year deal earlier this month.
NFL teams are expected to make major changes to their rosters as they finalize their 2026-2027 lineups soon.
