One of Hayden Panettiere‘s friends is speaking out.
If you have not heard the tragic news, over the weekend, the Heroes alum passed away while at a residence in South Carolina. She was about to turn 37 years old this week on August 21.
Hayden Panettiere’s friend revealed she had “severe” back pain this year
“I know she suffered earlier this year with her back,” her hairdresser and friend Erick Orellana told Page Six. It looks like Erick styled and cut Hayden‘s hair for her 2026 memoir, “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” as well as other promotional work and appearances.
He said the pain was “really severe,” sharing, “At one point, it was even hard for her to move her legs.”
He shared that it appeared she was “starting to be on the mend.”
She was photographed using crutches earlier this year as well.
