Brandon Flowers reveals he’s considered quitting music: “I’m really going through it right now”

While his third solo album comes out on August 21st, Flowers doesn’t know how much longer he can be an artist.
“My dad goes to yard sales, where he buys frames to take home and paint,” he says. “He’s never had any money in his life and he’s happier than I am.”
Flowers wonders why he does it, and says he gets sick after each tour. He also wonders what motivates Mick Jagger (83) to keep performing.
Lest we forget the synth-y album that The Killers scrapped in 2023 because it didn’t feel authentic.
He says The Killers’ songs fill the concert seats, but he’s most comfortable making music heard on 2021’s Pressure Machine.
He’ll be doing a solo tour this fall.
