    – DC pulled a piece of artwork for sale by artist Bilquis Everly when fans realized that one of the aliens in the print (selling for $50 online) was a Star Wars character Lexo Sooger, a “star masseur” developed and ultimately cut from “The Last Jedi” in 2017.

    – Reference artwork containing the character was mistakenly given to the artist, who was also the artist on the “Woman of Tomorrow” comic series the film is (mostly…somewhat…ostensibly…) based on.

-“Supergirl” releases in theaters 6/26/2026 and stars Milly Alcock, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Jason Momoa. It will also be the shortest DC movie yet at 1 hour 46 minutes.

    – New “Supergirl” spot out today (6/12).

    – Director Craig Gillespie knows people are already critiquing the film for appearing too much like Guardians of the Galaxy in look and tone, saying this is because there are “only so many space movies”.
    – James Gunn said “Farscape” was an inspiration for his GotG films, and Gillespie’s “Fright Night” includes a direct mention of “Farscape”. The redesign of the villain in “Supergirl”, in the opinion of this OP, looks like a “Farscape” background henchman while in the comics he looks like a leprechaun space pirate. Just saying. look how they massacred my boy.gif
