Jordan North once had a highly embarrassing run-in with Ashton Kutcher.
‘I don’t know if he was genuinely offended’: Jordan North’s embarrassing moment with Ashton Kutcher
The Capital FM Breakfast Show presenter regularly interviews celebrities as part of his job but admitted he was left red-faced after a chat with That 70s Show star Kutcher went drastically wrong.
Jordan told The Mirror: “I seen Ashton Kutcher and he was very jet-lagged, he had his sunglasses on and he showed me his eyes.
“I said ‘They’re like p***holes in the snow’, I don’t know if it’s because he didn’t understand the Northern twang, or he was genuinely offended. He was great at interviewing, he was lovely, but as soon as he walked out, I was like, ‘Why did I say that to one of the biggest Hollywood stars?'”
Jordan presents the Breakfast Show alongside Chris Stark and Sian Welby and admitted he is still struggling to adjust to his early starts.
He said: “Some weeks are better than others, some weeks you’re just shattered, and you get used to it. At the end of the day, we’re not digging up roads. We’re just having a laugh with our mates on the show. And we’ve got a team that works really hard, and we put a lot of prep and effort into it.
“We don’t just fart out a radio show every day, we think really hard about it, we’re very lucky, so you’ve got to remember that whenever you feel a bit moany or whinging.”
Meanwhile, Jordan insisted that he regularly tries to challenge himself and competing on ITV show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is one of the best things he has ever done.
He said: “You’ve just got to do it, it’s really good to get out of your comfort zone.
“It makes you a stronger person. The best way to prepare for failure is to over-prepare, just prep. When I get on stage, I make sure I know what I’m doing and make sure that I’m comfortable. The best thing is just to breathe – I know it sounds obvious, just breathe. We’re all the same, we’re all anxious and have worries and fears, that’s what you’ve got to remember, we’re all human.”
