Horatio’s new album release came and went.
“Aperture” debuted at no. 1, but has since left the Hot 100 entirely. The song title is even used on Stan Twitter to describe a bad/flop song, while “Espresso” is used to describe a good/hit song. Take that as you will.
The second single, “American Girls” peaked at no. 4 and is currently no. 34 on the Hot 100 chart this week. So not all is lost, I guess.
Other than that, no other songs have really taken off and the buzz (outside of touring) has seemingly died down.
The album has since left the top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart and is at no. 24 this week, with the album expected to drop down further if streaming continues to decline.
Nearly 900 million streams is nothing to scoff at, but when compared to his last album’s (Harry’s Shack House) 10.2 billion streams. Well, it’s not exactly great either.
So what happened? Is it JOEVER and DUNZO for Harry, or is this simply his “flop” era? Discuss Jackals.
