Next month, we’re renaming Alamo Drafthouse Littleton after East High graduate and film icon @PamGrier.
To celebrate, she’ll be here *in person* on Friday, May 15th for a rare 35mm double feature of JACKIE BROWN and FOXY BROWN.
We hope you’ll join us. https://t.co/MhwWAWgE1I pic.twitter.com/qLFMT21Hor

Pam Grier went to high school near Denver (her family was Air Force). Grier is slated to take the stage for a live conversation about her career and her influence on film culture.
“Renaming our Littleton theater in her honor celebrates not only her extraordinary cinematic legacy, but also the lasting influence she’s had on film culture,” Alamo Drafthouse chief marketing officer Chaya Rosenthal said in the announcement. There will be more Pam Grier-focused screenings along with commemorative items tied to the renaming. So far, there is only one item, “Pam Grier Bad Ass Cinema” shirt available.
