Michael J Fox would happily return for another season

The 64-year-old actor appeared in the third season of the Apple comedy-drama show, and Michael has revealed that he would love to return for season four.

Asked if he’ll find time for the show, Michael – who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991 – told People: “Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.

“I love Bill [Lawrence, the show’s co-creator] and I’m so happy it’s a success. And it’s such a great time being with those actors.

“It’s so important to me to have that to go to. And I would absolutely do that in a heartbeat.”

In the show, Harrison Ford’s on-screen character is battling Parkinson’s disease. And Michael admits that he’s loved working with the Hollywood legend.

He shared: “The reaction to Shrinking, we really seem to have a lot of investment in it, investment in learning about the disease and [what a] powerful actor Harrison is, the focus of it. The chance to work with him. And like I always say, Harrison … I don’t have to make Harrison believe I have Parkinson’s. He has to make me believe he has Parkinson’s.

“And he does. He’s brilliant. And the way he sees the world in the same way that I see the world. It’s very difficult when you present a different world than you feel. I don’t know I’m shaking. I don’t know I’m falling. I don’t know I’m stumbling. You know it, but I don’t know it. It’s just normal stuff to me.”

Meanwhile, Michael previously insisted that he has no regrets about ending his acting retirement to star in Shrinking.

He told Variety: “It was the first time ever I get to show up on-set, and I didn’t have to worry about am I too tired or coughing or anything. I just do it.

“It was really good, because for the moments when I say, ‘I’m not going to be able to do this,’ then I say, ‘Well, I’ll just deal with how I can’t do it in the scene.’ And you get through it.”
