It looks like Dr. Jill Biden is a fan of Heated Rivalry!
On Thursday (April 16), the 74-year-old former First Lady made a surprise guest appearance at the NYC LGBT Community Center’s Center Gala Dinner.
During the live action, Jill bid $35,000 to have a walk-on role in the gay hockey series’ second season along with a dinner with the cast.

Afterwards, Jill took to X and made a fun reference to the show.
“Guess I won’t be heading to the cottage after all—but it was worth a shot!” Jill wrote. “What a wonderful evening supporting @LGBTCenterNYC 💕”
Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney and his producing partner Brendan Brady, who wasn’t able to make it to the gala, were honored during the gala with the Cultural Impact Award. They were presented with the award by Rachel Reid, the author of the Game Changers book series.
Season two of Heated Rivalry is scheduled to begin filming in August and debut in April 2027. Find out which actors are expected to return!
