During a new installment of Hot One Versus to promote the upcoming Hulu reboot of Malcom in the Middle, Bryan Cranston and Frankie Muniz got into it over something men and internet edgelords have been arguing about since Breaking Bad first aired back in 2008: Skyler White.
One of the question cards asks Bryan whether he prefers his fictional Lois or Skyler. He chooses Lois from a character POV, but then Frankie cuts in with: “Can I tell you an honest truth? I love Breaking Bad…I wanted to kill Skyler…to make your life easier. You were such a bad guy. You could have just gotten rid of her. All she did was complain. Look at the money.”
After letting his mouth hang open in shock, Bryan defended Anna Gunn, calling her a “superb actor” and responded: “Wait a minute. Let me understand this. Her husband leaves without any explanation. She’s pregnant. He’s making crystal methamphetamine and people have died and she’s the bitch?” to which Frankie relents and says, “Well, when you put it that way…”
