The Super Mario Galaxy Movie easily held on to the top spot at the box office in its second weekend, making $69 million (nice). It only fell 48% from its opening weekend, and so far, the film has made $308 million domestically and $629 million worldwide.

Mario was not the only strong hold of the weekend. In the second spot was Project Hail Mary with a $24.5 million take, falling just 21% in its fourth weekend. So far, it has made $256.6 million domestic and $510 million globally, on a $200 million budget.

The Drama also held strong, coming in third place with an $8.7 million haul, and falling just 38% from its opening weekend gross. So far, it’s made $30 million in North America and $65 million worldwide on a $28 million budget.

New romantic comedy entrant You, Me and Tuscany pulled in $8 million in its opening weekend, good enough for a fourth place finish at the box office. Audiences enjoyed the film, giving it an A- Cinemascore, and it brought in $1.1 overseas, making its total box office $9.1 million on an $18 million budget.

Hoppers rounded out the top five, bringing in $4.1 million in its sixth weekend of release. The film has made $157.1 million domestically and $354.4 million worldwide, indicating it has slowed down at the box office a bit faster than expected for its $150 million budget.
