Offset has returned to the stage for the first time since he was shot.
“REAL LOVE ❤️,” Offset, 34, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, April 11, sharing footage from his onstage return during a concert at the University of Arkansas that night.
During the show, the rapper rose from a wheelchair to thunderous applause before performing his biggest hits for those in attendance. He wore a skeleton mask over his face for the duration of the set.
News broke on Monday, April 6, that Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) was shot near the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida. He did not sustain any life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting, according to police officers on the scene.
“We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” a police spokesperson said in a statement at the time. “Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
Offset was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. He was discharged less than one week later.
“He is up and walking,” a rep for the musician told Us Weekly on Friday, April 10. “We’re incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him.”
Offset broke his silence that same day.
“Thank you to everyone who checked in on me and showed me love,” the Migos member wrote in an Instagram statement. “I’m good, but I’m planning to be better!”
He continued, “I’m focused on my family, my recovery and getting back to the music. [I am] realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses. Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”

Offset is a father of six. He shares Jordan, 16, with Justine Watson, Kody, 11, with Oriel Jamie, Kalea, 11, with Shya L’Amour, as well as three children with estranged wife Cardi B. (Cardi, 33, later welcomed a son with Stefon Diggs in November 2025.)
“[Having kids] make you grow up, make you pay attention and switch the things you talk about in your music,” Offset said in a September 2024 interview with Billboard, detailing how fatherhood impacted his career. “It makes me give a little context to the music now.”
