The reality show Selling the OC aired season four on Netflix back in November 2025, but it looks unlikely that fans will get a season five in 2026… or possibly, at all.
TMZ is reporting that a new season of the show is being “pushed to the back burner” because of issues with the flagship show Selling Sunset.

Selling Sunset‘s ninth season aired in October 2025 and there are going to be some cast shakeups for the 10th season. With all of the changes happening on that show, production on the new season was pushed to late April or early May, and now producers are reportedly not focusing on the spinoff show at the moment.
TMZ says “a final decision has not yet been made on whether O.C. will ever return,” but cast members are afraid that the “pause could turn into something more final.”
Jason and Brett Oppenheim joined the cast of the OC series for a birthday party this week and there were no cameras filming.
