The 2026 Wireless Festival has been canceled.
Festival organizers confirmed that the music festival would no longer be moving forward this summer in London after the Home Office denied the headliner Kanye West, from entering the UK on Tuesday (April 7).

“As a result of the Home Office banning YE from entering the United Kingdom, Wireless Festival has been forced to cancel. All ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund,” a message now reads on the official website for the festival
The UK government blocked Kanye from travel after he applied for an Electronic Travel Authorization one day prior on Monday (April 6).
The decision to refuse permission “was made on the grounds that his presence would not be conducive to the public good,” per the BBC.
Kanye had spoken out earlier in the day according to the report, saying he “would be grateful” to meet members of the Jewish community following his antisemitic statements over the years.
Ye added that he has been “following the conversation around Wireless,” and offered “to listen.”
“I know words aren’t enough…I’ll have to show change through my actions. If you’re open, I’m here.”
The Board of Deputies of British Jews said it was “willing” to meet Ye as long as he pulled out of the performance. Find out more about Ye being blocked.
