Yes, the Junos are tonight and no one on ONTD (including myself) posted red carpet pics (yet?).
However, one standout performer delivered a killer performance and then immediately won Best New Artist/Band– Cameron Whitcomb.
Cameron Whitcomb is a 23 year old from Nanaimo, British Columbia. He competed on season 20 of American Idol, and made it to the top 20. After that, he has pursued music as a career. He has won “Best Country Album” and “Best New Artist/Band” at this year’s Juno’s awards.
He performed “Options” from his 2025 album, “The Hard Way”. His new album, “Deep Water” is coming out on April 17th.
The Junos doesn’t want to have people watch them so they haven’t uploaded the performance yet (I’m salty) so here is a tweet from IheartRadioCanada about the red carpet.

The Junos were great tonight, hosted by Mae Martin. The other standout performer was also from the country genre, Indigenous artist William Prince. PM Mark Carne is honouring Joni Mitchell as I write this.
Junos were really fun to watch and had some great new bands highlighted, ONTD! Though some of my old favs were sounding rough… (The Arkells).
