Kelly Osbourne has reportedly split from Sid Wilson.
Kelly Osbourne is single again
The former Fashion Police star got engaged to the Slipknot rocker – with whom she has three-year-old son Sidney – at her late dad Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell concert in Birmingham last July after three years of dating, but the couple are now said to have gone their separate ways.
Insiders said Kelly has endured a “difficult” month coping with her new life as a single mom while continuing to mourn Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy, who died just two weeks after his final concert.
A source told the Daily Mail online: “Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement.
“Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she’s been doing everything she can to cope.
“In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared.
“They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward.
“Kelly has endured a great deal over the past year. Despite everything, she remains sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother moving ahead.”
Kelly had previously shared video footage of 48-year-old Sid’s proposal, which featured her dad and mum Sharon Osbourne unwinding with family and friends.
Sharon could be heard saying: “You’ve got to be quiet!”
Sid then took Kelly’s hand and said: “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world!”
But before he could ask the important question, Paranoid hitmaker Ozzy jumped in.
He laughed: “F*** off, you are not marrying my daughter!”
Sid then continued: “I want to spend the rest of my life with you – and ask in front of all of our family and friends, Kelly, will you marry me?”
Kelly looked stunned before Sid stood up and put a ring on her finger while those around them cheered.
The 40-year-old star: “Oh and this happened yesterday!”
Kelly had earlier hailed Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert one of the “most magical experiences” of her life.
She said in a video shared to her Instagram Story: “I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
“Thank you to everyone who came to the show last night, [and] thank you to everybody who was involved in the show last night. You have no idea what it did for my dad.
“It was one of the most magical experiences of my entire life, and if I keep talking, I’m probably going to end up crying again. So, that’s all I’ll say for now. Thank you.”
The epic concert marked the 76-year-old rocker’s official retirement and was staged to raise funds for charities including Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Ozzy – who reunited with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time since 2005 at Villa Park for the show – passed away just two weeks later.
