Follow up to this very old post
Three years ago, Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a photo of her with Pedro Pascal on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. When Pedro was asked about it two days later on the red carpet for the S3 premiere of The Mandalorian, he had nothing but nice things to say about Sarah and his experience working with her. He said he remembered every moment of shooting that episode. He also said that Sarah was incredibly kind to him, went back to her trailer to get ice cream for him, and taught him how to use a sandbag to hit his mark. In another interview, he said that he had only $7 left in his bank account when he received a residual check from his one episode appearance on Buffy. He said that money saved the day and allowed him to keep going.
At the time, Pedro was asked about SMG’s post several times but weirdly, SMG wasn’t asked about it very much until this week when a caller asked her about it on WWHL. Sarah felt the same way that many ONTDers did about Pedro’s character. She really liked Pedro and wanted more time with him. After shooting with him, she asked her hair/makeup people: “Why does this guy have to die?”
Imagine if we’d had Eddie as a new Scooby instead of Riley!
