According to TMZ, this stems from his November arrest in Eugene Oregon. Authorities responded to a reckless endangerment call and discovered him in a vehicle with his three young kids and fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright.

The cops said he violated his probation from a previous domestic violence conviction, as he was not supposed to be in touch with his fiancée.

He is also facing a DUI case in Oklahoma and is expected to be extradited there after serving his California sentence.

In a statement shared with TMZ, his attorney John Kolego said, “The sentence was excessive. It was ridiculous. Zachary has experienced a lot of trauma. He has an alcohol problem. Putting him in jail or prison is not going to help the situation. Poor use of resources. I’m very disappointed in the judge. Zachary attended the hearing remotely. He apologized to the court, he said he wants to be the best father he can be, acknowledged he needs help with his alcohol problem and the judge slapped him with this sentence.”
