Sophie Turner filmed an action scene for the upcoming Lara Croft TV series!
The 30-year-old Game of Thrones star wielded two guns and was seen appearing to sneak up on a home while in character as the Tomb Raider star in pics taken this week in Surrey, England. At one point, her character appeared to throw something inside a window in the home.
If you don’t know, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is being billed as the series’ creator, writer, and executive producer, and it will air on Prime Video sometime in the future.
When Sophie was cast in the iconic role, she released the following statement: “I am thrilled beyond measure, to be playing Lara Croft. She’s such an iconic character, who means so much to so many – and I am giving everything I’ve got. They’re massive shoes to fill, following in the steps of Angelina [Jolie] and Alicia [Vikander] with their powerhouse performances, but with Phoebe at the helm, we (and Lara) are all in very safe hands. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have cooking.”
