The big Firefly announcement: a new animated series. According to Nathan Fillion’s post, they have everything they need except a channel to air the show. He said they have Joss Whedon’s blessing, the rights from 20th Century Fox/Disney, husband and wife team Tara Butters (Dollhouse, Agent Carter) & Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, The Flash) as showrunners, a script for the new pilot, and Emmy & Academy Award winning animation studio ShadowMachine.
