We have some context behind that viral clip that’s making the rounds on the Internet, showing Teyana Taylor in a bit of an altercation at the 2026 Oscars.
The 35-year-old One Battle After Another nominee was seen in a clip, saying, “You put your hands on a female…He literally shoved me. He was damn near shoving her.” She also could be heard saying, “You are very disrespectful and rude.”

Apparently, it all went down right after the Oscars broadcast wrapped up on Sunday (March 15). The issue apparently arose when she was going back on stage to take a photo with the cast and crew of her Best Picture-winning film.
She was supposedly with Pamela Abdy, the co-chair and co-CEO of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, “when a security guard attempted to stop them from going up the stairs.”
The source added that the guard “used his body to block Taylor and put his hands on her, trying to physically hold her back and push her away from the stage to prevent her from getting past him.”
Teyana seemingly did not let this ruin her night, as she quickly changed and ended up attending the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
