OP doesn’t watch Euphoria, but OP loves a mess.
The comment sections are saying Labrinth’s music was integral to the success and vibe of the show.
It was announced that old white man Hans Zimmer would be joining as composer for Season 3. Initially, it seemed like it was a meeting of the minds, at the time of the announcement in July 2025, Labrinth said, “Another chapter in the ‘Euphoria’ universe!” Labrinth said in a statement at the time of the announcement. “So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season. Love x.” Hans said, “Labrinth’s music has shaped the show’s identity, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.”
Now it seems things have fallen apart. No word from Euphoria PR or Hans Zimmer yet
Hans is booked and busy as an old white male composer with multiple award wins, nominations, and a tour; he is not exactly hurting for work, so why join Euphoria?
