Harry Jowsey is making a surprise admission about his friendships with the cast of Dancing with the Stars.
If you forgot, the 28-year-old reality star competed on season 32 of the ABC ballroom competition show with partner Rylee Arnold.
While appearing on the Wednesday (March 11) episode of Teen Beat with Danielle Fishel, Harry revealed that he is no longer friends with any of the DWTS cast members.
Keep reading to find out more…The surprising confession came after Harry called the show “the best experience ever, so rewarding and amazing.”
“I had the best time,” he continued. “Everyone was really lovely, and then they weren’t.”
Danielle – who competed on season 34 of the show and currently has a limited run on the DWTS tour – chimed in to say that Harry knows what the DWTS schedule is like, to which he agreed, noting that the cast is “locked in.”
After his season ended and the cast got ready for the next season, Harry said that he stopped hearing from his cast members.
“The next season came around of the show, and I realized that a lot of the people would not text me back or unfollowed me,” Harry said. “And actually, the biggest thing that upset me the most is when my dad passed, no one texted me, and I was really close to them.”
No one had texted me apart from Sasha [Farber], and I was like, okay,” he added.
Harry, who announced his father’s death in December 2024, said that the situation was “horrible” and it made him question if any of his DWTS castmates were really his friends.
After saying that it was a “very telling moment,” Harry said he was “trying my best with all the noise and everything,” seemingly referring to the rumors that he and Rylee, 20, were dating.
“I’m kind of glad that I’m not friends with any of them,” he added.
Harry also claimed that he was training at the gym with one of his former DWTS castmates, who knew his father was sick, but didn’t extend their condolences.
“But when I posted the photo like, and my dad’s passed, they just like it,” said Harry, referring to his announcement on Instagram. “And I’m like, I would have moved mountains, If it was you, I would have been there. So I think that’s why I’m like, I’m kind of glad that that chapter [is behind me].”
After noting that he’s not sure if the cast is “really real people,” Harry said that it’s “all good” now because he’s spoken with other former DWTS contestants who say “it’s such a bubble and nothing else matters.”
“And I think when you’re a dancer, and you’re on that show, that’s like you made the NFL because a lot of the other pros that leave the show, they’re kind of like the outcasts,” Harry explained. “They don’t really talk to them, so it’s a bit weird.”
While Harry admitted that his comments about the DWTS might get him in “trouble,” he asserted, “I don’t really care.”
