The Opening Ceremony is at 8pm CET, 7pm GMT, 2pm EST, and 11am PST with coverage on USA Network beginning half an hour prior.

The Ukrainian team has been banned from wearing uniforms featuring a map of Ukraine at the 2026 Paralympics. The IPC claims the map is “political.”

There will be no Canadian athletes or officials at the Paralympics Opening Ceremony in Verona — that includes flag bearers.
With the Opening Ceremony two hours away from the competition venues and competition the next day, Canada is prioritizing performance over the event.
