Jason Bateman says he was “baited” into a conversation about the birds and the bees with his 14-year-old daughter, Maple.
During a recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actor recalled how the “uncomfortable” topic came up after she had sex education at school.
To follow up, Jason asked her if she had unanswered questions, telling the host he “didn’t want to tell her anything [he didn’t] need to.”

The Ozark star then said he thinks his daughter “played dumb” with him so he would have to engage in the awkward conversation.
He says it got most complicated when they reached the “release stage,” adding that he didn’t want to use the word “ejaculate.”
Instead, he went with: “When the male member is inside of the woman’s member, it’s so lovely. There is so much love. The penis just screams. And it’s the equivalent of the penis just yelling, ‘I love you!’ And it yells the love into the woman and then you get you, baby.’”
In response, Jimmy burst into laughter and joked that Jason should “write a children’s book.”
