Donna Kelce is clarifying how she slimmed down before The Traitors season 4 reunion.
After the “Kelce Brothers” fan account shared a pic of Kelce, 73, from the tell-all special, one Facebook user commented that “weight loss drugs worked” on her.
“I did it myself with intermittent fasting,” Kelce replied, debunking the claims. “About 30 pounds over a year.”
Weight-loss medications such as Ozempic and Wegovy are usually prescribed to adults with weight-related conditions to help them slim down. Doctors have often cautioned their patients against using semaglutides for casual weight loss.
Kelce, who has not further detailed her weight-loss journey, recently traveled to Scotland to compete in season 4 of Peacock’s The Traitors murder mystery show. She was one of the first players banished at the roundtable despite being named the Secret Traitor.
“Playing a Traitor was tough, but I gave it my best shot,” Kelce said after her elimination. “This has been a dream come true. These are happy tears that I get to do this at this point in my life. It’s just the joy of being in the game.”
Donna’s gameplay, albeit short, still had the approval of sons Jason and Travis Kelce. (Donna shares her kids with her ex-husband, Ed Kelce.)
“For my stamp of the week, I’m keeping it in the family. Dude, I’m going Mom all day. Did you watch this?” Travis, 36, said on a January episode of the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. “I was so proud of her, man. She looked like she was having a blast, enjoying it all.”

He continued, “[She] showed everybody what she’s got. It was just so cool to see her in this moment. Shout-out to my guy Ron Funches for sticking by her side and being kind to her.”
Travis further gushed that it was “just so fun” watching his mom enjoy herself on reality TV.
“It was just so fun to see her out there, living out her dream, giving the world a beautiful message about being fortunate enough to do these things at her age and where she is in life, and it’s just so cool to see her live in that moment, man,” Travis added. “She stood her ground at the roundtable.”
Jason, for his part, also thought Donna had “fantastic” game strategies.
“I thought Mom did a great job, I loved watching her,” the ESPN commentator, 38, said at the time. “She was way more deceitful and devious than I thought Mom could ever be, which was surprising.”
The Traitors season 4 ended with Love Island USA alum Rob Rausch taking home the entire prize pot since he was the last Traitor standing.
“Given the opportunity, I’m going to take the money for myself,” Rausch, 27, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the Thursday, February 27, finale. “It just wasn’t a risk I was willing to take [in splitting with fellow Traitor Eric Nam, who I recruited to my side]. I had the game locked up. Why would I not just finish out strong?”
Rausch walked away with $220,800, but he is planning to buy Faithful Maura Higgins a new Birkin bag with his winnings.
“That is in the works. I’m in cahoots with Lisa [Rinna],” he teased to Us. “She said she could probably get my foot in the door so I can buy one. It’s proving way more difficult than I thought it would be.”
