    Martin Short Postpones Comedy Tour Following Daughter Katherine’s Death

    Martin Short is taking some time off to mourn the death of his daughter Katherine.

    On Tuesday (February 24), it was announced that the 75-year-old comedian and actor’s daughter had died, reportedly from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She was 42-years-old.

    The day after Katherine‘s death, Martin‘s rep announced that the Only Murders in the Building actor is postponing the next few dates on his comedy tour with longtime friend and co-star Steve Martin.

    Keep reading to find out more…“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Steve Martin & Martin Short’s shows on February 27th in Milwaukee and February 28th in Minneapolis have been postponed,” Martin‘s rep told Entertainment Weekly. “Tickets will be honored for a future rescheduled date.”

    As of right now, Martin is still scheduled to perform with Steve, 80, on March 13 in Washington, D.C. The tour continues through October.

    If you didn’t know, Katherine was one of three children Martin shared with late wife Nancy Dolman, who died of ovarian cancer in 2010. They are also parents to sons Oliver and Henry.

    Following news of Katherine‘s devastating death, Martin and his family released a statement.
