    Kash Patel is addressing the viral video of him celebrating with the US Men’s Hockey Team after their gold medal win at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

    The 45-year-old director of the FBI was seen in the locker room with the team after their big win, chugging a beer and cheering with the athletes.

    Following the viral video, Kash took to his Twitter/X account to react to the criticism he faced for partying with the team.

    “For the very concerned media – yes, I love America and was extremely humbled when my friends, the newly minted Gold Medal winners on Team USA, invited me into the locker room to celebrate this historic moment with the boys- Greatest country on earth and greatest sport on earth. 👊🏼🏒🇺🇸,” he wrote.

    Earlier in the day, he shared another post, along with photos of the team, celebrating their big win, which was their first gold medal in 46 years.

    “Unity, Sacrifice, Attitude- what it takes to be the best in the world. These men live and breathe it. Now Team USA are gold medal champions, legends standing on the shoulders of giants,” he shared. “Thank you for representing the greatest country on earth, in the greatest game ever created. 👊🏼🇺🇸🏒 congrats boys @usahockey”

    One of the Team USA Men’s Hockey players got his teeth knocked out during the final game on Sunday (February 22).

    There is also video online of Donald Trump congratulating the team over the phone and inviting them to the State of the Union address on Tuesday (February 24) in DC.
