    The 2026 Independent Spirit Awards are happening now (Sunday, February 15)!

    The awards show honors films budgeted at less than $30 million to produce and must be considered “independent,” as well as different TV categories.

    The Spirit Awards are taking place live from Los Angeles, and you can watch it right on YouTube.

    This year, Netflix has by far the most nominations with 18 total. A24 is next, with 10 nominations total. There are familiar names on the list as well, with actors from The Pitt, Alien: Earth, and more being recognized.
