Dozens of Pima County deputies, FBI agents, and the Sheriff’s Department SWAT unit are at a home near Nancy Guthrie‘s in Tucson, Ariz., indicating a major development into the unfolding investigation surrounding her abduction.

As first reported by NewsNation’s Brian Entin and TMZ, it looks like law enforcement have gotten a break in the case as they were reportedly seen swarming a home that is located about two miles from Nancy‘s home on Friday night (February 13).

Entin‘s team allegedly has taken video of the police walking out of the home with a man and a woman. The two people are believed to be mother and son and reportedly voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement. However, it’s unclear if they were taken in as suspects or persons of interests, or actually arrested.

TMZ reports that a judge apparently issued a search warrant.

“Appears two individuals were taken out of the house where swat operation is happening. I’m told a nearby traffic stop is also connected. Im outside the house,” Entin recently shared on X.

Earlier today, the department revealed that they had discovered DNA at her home that does not belong to her or people close to her.
