Netflix unleashed the teaser for the new episodes on Thursday (February 12), which follows the behind-the-scenes of the 2025 F1 season.

Here’s a synopsis: Offering unprecedented access, this new season will once again take fans behind the scenes, to witness first-hand how the drivers and teams prepare to battle it out for the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Formula 1 drivers seen in the trailer include the entire 2025 grid – Alex Albon, Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso, Franco Colapinto, Gabriel Bortoleto, George Russell, Isack Hadjar, Jack Doohan, Kimi Antonelli, Lance Stroll, Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton, Liam Lawson, Max Verstappen, Nico Hulkenberg, Oliver Bearman, Oscar Piastri, Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda.

Also seen in the trailer are Team Principals like Mercedes’ Toto Wolff, Ferrari’s Fred Vasseur, Alpine’s Flavio Briatore, Red Bull’s Christian Horner and McLaren CEO Zak Brown.

Speaking of Christian Horner, the trailer ends with him saying, “I’ve had something taken away from me that wasn’t my choice,” to wife Geri Halliwell. It then cuts to him in the Drive to Survive interview seat, where he says, “I think we’re done,” and gets up to walk away.

If you recall, it was announced mid-season last year that Christian would be leaving Red Bull after being the Team Principal and CEO for it’s entire run over the last 20 years.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive season eight debuts February 27th.

The 2026 Formula 1 season then begins a week later on March 6th in Australia!
