As Dylan Faden, you’ll take on a wide range of paranatural threats head-on, utilizing the environment, deploying extraordinary abilities and the raw force of Dylan’s shapeshifting weapon, the Aberrant. Wield the Aberrant in its many deadly forms and decide how you want to tackle your foes in combat as the weapon morphs on demand to meet each new challenge. Dylan’s abilities extend beyond combat as he uses them to traverse perception-bending locations and grapple with gravity anomalies that distort the vertical and horizontal plane.”
    – Sequel to 2019’s “Control” (and in the same universe as Alan Wake/Alan Wake II).
    – Follows the brother of “Control” protagonist Jesse Faden, Dylan (who we meet in Control), and some new characters (although Remedy has said some “old faces” will also return – since Jesse was seen in the initial trailer, this better include Dr. Darling my beloved).
    – Releases sometime in 2026 (if rumors are to be believed, by the end of Q2 i.e. end of June.)
    – Co-production between Remedy Entertainment (the developers of Control and the Remedy Connected Universe of games) and Annapurna Pictures (owned by Larry Ellison’s daughter and David Ellison’s sister, Megan Ellison); unlike their deal with Epic Games to develop and publish Alan Wake 2, Remedy will self-publish Control and release the game on all platforms simultaneously.
    – Remedy says the game can be played without first playing Control / Alan Wake / Alan Wake II.

Are you hyped for Control Resonant, ONTD? If you haven’t played Control, now is the time – and it only takes 15 hours or so for a full playthrough as one of the most badass female video game leads ever. If you are a fan of the Remedy Connected Universe, how do you think the events of Alan Wake II (and its DLC and NG+) will affect Control Resonant?
