    Noah Beck is mourning the loss of his co-star James Van Der Beek.

    The 24-year-old budding actor and the late star played father and son in the Tubi movies Sidelined: The QB & Me and Sidelined 2: Intercepted, the latter of which premiered this past November.

    Following James‘ tragic passing on Wednesday (February 11), Noah took to his Instagram Story to pay tribute to his late co-star and mentor.

    “man, this one hurts. james u were the best. so kind, so caring, so thoughtful, so talented, great father, and just an absolute inspiration of a human being,” Noah wrote. “i feel so incredibly lucky to have met u and share the screen with u as my father. u were the best mentor i could ask for…”

    “my thoughts are w u and ur family… fly high JVB,” he added.

    With another photo of them on set of the sequel, Noah shared, “bye for now.”

    Both Sidelined movies are now available to stream on Tubi.

    If you missed it, James will be seen on screen in just one more project.
