To the dismay of many Lovatics, Demi Lovato has cancelled five dates of her upcoming It’s Not That Deep Tour, including stops in Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Denver, and it’s not because of low ticket sales (most venues were 70-80% sold out). Many fans are upset that this happened so last minute and criticize her team for being ill-prepared and that the five stops are outright canceled, not postponed, especially since Demi hasn’t toured since 2022.
“My Lovatics — I’m so excited to get back on stage this year and visit as many cities as possible,” she posted to Instagram.“As I started preparing for the tour, I realized I had overestimated what would be possible. To protect my health and make sure I can give my best at every show, I need to take more time to rest and rehearse, and ultimately adjust the schedule with more breathing room so I can complete the entire tour. Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Denver — I’m really sad to say that I won’t be able to see you on this tour anymore and I’m so sorry to everyone who had plans to be there. Orlando — we are moving your show to April 13 and will kick off from there. I’m really excited about this tour and can’t wait to see so many of you singing along with me! Thank you for your constant support. I love you all and can’t wait to see you. ❤️”
