Donald Trump, the President, has reacted to the news that U.S. Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar was sprayed with an unknown substance during a town hall event that was all caught on video.
The scary situation unfolded on Tuesday (January 27), where footage shows a man approaching her and spraying the substance at her body.
ABC News Senior Political Correspondent Rachel Scott says she got to interview the 79-year-old POTUS, and his reaction is shocking.

He claims that she “probably had herself sprayed.”
Rachel posted, “Just spoke to Pres. Trump. I asked him if he had seen the video of Rep. Omar being attacked and sprayed by a substance.
‘No. I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her,’ the president said.
I asked again if he had seen the video.
‘I haven’t seen it. No, no. I hope I don’t have to bother.’”

After the incident, Rep. Omar posted, “I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work. I don’t let bullies win. Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.”
