The gay hockey romance series Heated Rivalry has taken the streaming world by storm, catapulting its stars into the spotlight.
Now, actor Hudson Williams is skating into a new arena: high fashion.
On January 16, Williams officially made his high-fashion runway debut, stepping onto the catwalk for luxury brand DSquared2 at Milan Fashion Week.
In a major honor, the actor was chosen to both open and close the show, which showcased the brand’s coed Fall–Winter 2026 collection by designers Dean Caten and Dan Caten.
Against a backdrop of faux snow, Williams looked right at home, wearing a denim-on-denim ensemble that paid homage to both his Canadian roots and those of the brand.
The look seamlessly blended rugged cool with runway polish, signaling that Williams was more than ready for his fashion moment.
Ahead of the show, Williams spoke to Vogue backstage about his nerves going into the debut.
“It’s nerve wracking,” he admitted. “I feel very out of my element. This doesn’t feel like acting. So I’m just going to try my best to walk and serve as well as all these other people doing it. But I’m sure I’ll look a little like a chicken out there—like Bambi.”
Despite the nerves, Williams was fully on board with his look.
“I love my outfit,” he said. “I’m really comfortable and confident in it, and it makes me feel like I can put a little more oomph in my walk.”
And “oomph” he delivered. DSquared2 shared footage from the show on Instagram, quickly igniting excitement among Williams’ fans.
“Epic show and having Hudson opening and closing the show was the smartest move ever 🔥❤️,” one fan commented.

Williams also marked the milestone on his own Instagram, sharing a photo of his runway look from the back with the caption, “DEAN AND DAN HAVE MY HEART ❤️🔥 #EDGED2.”
