North West is once again expressing her personal style this time with a new set of piercings (and no, they aren’t on her ears).
In an Instagram Story shared on January 13, the tween revealed what appeared to be two additional finger piercings, joining the one she already has on her middle finger. Holding her hand up toward the camera, North showed off matching silver piercings on her index and middle fingers.
The accessories were on full display as she posed in an all-black look featuring a Balenciaga top, a frilly skirt, a handbag, and oversized sunglasses. She completed the outfit with her signature blue hair and a diamond-encrusted skull necklace.
West further showed off her new piercing in a TikTok video posted on January 12.
North’s finger piercing previously sparked major conversation online. On November 11, TikTok user @mazzy_williams shared a video reading, “north west getting a finger piercing is breaking my heart just me?” North and her mom, Kim Kardashian, responded from their joint account with a reassuring message: “it’s okay 🫶.”
North later doubled down on her fashion choice. In a TikTok posted December 9, she addressed critics directly, writing, “This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing,” while mouthing along to an audio that said, “Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together.”
Kardashian, 45, has also spoken candidly about navigating public scrutiny as a parent.
During an October appearance on Call Her Daddy, the actress and business woman admitted she doesn’t always get things right—especially when it comes to letting North wear outfits that some view as not age-appropriate.
“I’m like, okay, we’re never wearing that again. Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world,” Kardashian said, adding, “As a mom, you’re kind of like learning at the same time.”
She also emphasized how strongly she supports North’s self-expression, especially when it comes to her hair. “I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” she told host Alex Cooper. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”
According to Kardashian, North remains largely unfazed by online criticism. “She’s really mature in one sense where she’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care that they don’t like my blue hair or this or that,’” she shared. “She’s really confident and is like, ‘I probably wouldn’t be hanging out with those people.’”
